2018 QAI Process

The 2018 QAI process will change slightly when it comes to shutting off DUCs, please review the steps below. 

  • No more re-inspections by 2M
  • Production Manager required to re-inspect all failed houses (Prior to PSD)
  • If house is considered complete by PM prior to PSD, HR 2.2 Attachment B (Adjustments to DUCs) process can be used to calculate DUC end date for PJM bonus

Step-by-step guide

  1. House Fails inspection.
  2. Users are notified of failure via Precision, a link to the report will be in the email.
  3. Status of QAI inspection will be visible on Schedule Summary Page, it will now read Pass or Fail after an inspection.
  4. Opening a schedule will show a completed QAI task with new task called "QAI PM Sign-off" in RED
  5. Clicking on the task will display the a link to the QAI report and Punchlist tab (NEW)
  6. Clicking on Punchlists will display all items on QAI report, a user can also click on the QAI report to view the PDF.
  7. PM to walk house and complete task when they feel it is ready for a Homeowner to see it
    1. Task can be completed via web or mobile app, link to report or punchlist currently not available via mobile app.
  8. PM is only person who can complete task
  9. PM is able to request a Stop Days Adjustment to DUC if they feel the house is ready PRIOR to the PSD date, if not PSD date will be used for bonus purposes.
    1. If you decided to stop the days please select the QAI PM Sign Off, this date on this form should mirror the date of the task in the schedule.
    2. End of DUC task should be on the same date
