Model Functions

The purpose of this page is is outline the responsibilities and restrictions of the model process as well as the users who manage it.

Dashboard

Overdue Orphan Tasks

Model tasks will have the name "Regional Sales" if they are past their end date. (End Date = Actual Date + Duration)

Schedule Summary

The schedule summary page allows you to look at multiple schedules cross all divisions and communities that you have access to based on your profile. 

Division Community Picker

To filter only model homes on this page follow these steps

  • Click on the division community filter button
  • Select the division/communities you want to see
  • Check the Model Home Only Flag
  • Click OK to pull back your results

Model Column

To see which schedules are models follow the steps below

  • Click on the columns button
  • Scroll to the bottom and check Model
  • Once checked the column will appear on the screen, you might have to scroll to the right depending on how many columns you have.
  • The column is able to be moved and put in any location on the screen
  • This can also be done from the vendor or Agenda View

Model Tasks

Color Identification

Model tasks will have a different color from the other tasks. When a task is labeled as model it will appear in the web as purple with white text.

Restrictions

Model tasks and non Model tasks have restrictions on who can make schedule updates to protect the integrity of the RSS's and PJM's schedules.  below are the following rules to follow.

Only RSS can update the following of a task:

  • Scheduled Date
  • Duration
  • Lock Status 
  • Complete Status
  • All other fields can be updated (Notes, Docs, Issues)

WEB

In the event a user tries to update these fields who doesn't have a security profile equal to "Model Team" they will get the error message below.  Please note that the reverse is true for all non model tasks in the schedule.

Model Task Filter

The model task filter allows you to review from the screen certain tasks you do not need to see.

Single Schedule View

  • From the single schedule view click on the Filters Button
  • At the bottom of the drop down you will see a choice of All, Model, Non-Model
  • Select Model if you only want to see Model Tasks
  • Click anywhere outside of the drop down to close it (we recommend you click on any gray space in the action bar)


Multi Schedule View

  • From the Multi Schedule view, click on the filter icon in the upper right hand corner. It looks like a funnel and is located next to the multi select button.
  • At the bottom of the drop down you will see a choice of All, Model, Non-Model
  • Select Model if you only want to see Model Tasks
  • Click anywhere outside of the drop down to close it (we recommend you click on any gray space in the action bar)
