Start Date of Newly Loaded Schedule

This page will help explain the process behind how Start Dates of new schedules are calculated:

Process

When a new schedule is loaded into SchedulePro the application takes the following into consideration on where the start date is placed:

  1. When a schedule is created for the first time SchedulePro uses the projected Settlement date from UCS and subtracts Base DUC and Additional DUC on the lot to work back to the Start Date. This sometimes puts the calculated start date BEFORE the current date.

  2. If according to the above the Start Date would be placed in the past or within 30 days of the current date the application will substitute the originally calculated start date with the Current Date + 120 days.

  3. The calculation in step two will also make sure that the new start date is on a working day in the calendar.

The purpose of this process is to avoid Schedules being loaded with start dates in the past or too close to the current date where it could cause problems for back office, pre start, and permitting tasks
