How to change the phase on a work order

The steps below show how a user can change the Phase activity for an Work Order item without having to create a new WO


  • Anyone can adjust the phase
  • Phase Activities that are available are based on the Community Vendor Table (CVT)
    • if a phase is missing contact the Cost Control Manager (CCM)
  • This can only be done when the WO is in the Pending Status (Waiting for Approval)
    • Once accepted, it can not be changed and has to be cancelled and regenerated

Step-by-step guide - WO Mobile App (iOS)

  1. Open the Work Order mobile app and find the WO you need to adjust (Phase activity should be reviewed on all WOs prior to being accepted)
  2. Next you want to click on the line item you need to adjust/verify
  3. Click on the Phase Code field
  4. Click on the phase you wish to change it to and click "Item Detail" to return to the previous page, Click Save
  5. You can now Save the change or change the status to Accept and Click Save.
    1. Only NVR users can change the status to Accept
    2. Any user can adjust the Phase activity during this stage of the process
